The Media block adds an image or embedded video to your LinkShop page. Use it to showcase visual content like product photos, brand imagery, or video content from YouTube or Vimeo.
What It Does
The Media block displays a single image or video on your page. Images are shown at full width and scale responsively to fit any screen size. Videos from YouTube or Vimeo are embedded in a 16:9 player directly on your page.
Settings
Type — Choose between Image, YouTube, or Vimeo
Depending on the type you choose, you'll see different options:
Image
Image — Upload or select an image file
YouTube
Video ID — Enter the YouTube video ID. This is the code at the end of a YouTube URL (for example, the ID in youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ is dQw4w9WgXcQ). You can also paste the full URL
Vimeo
Video ID — Enter the Vimeo video ID. This is the number at the end of a Vimeo URL (for example, 148751763). You can also paste the full URL
How to Add a Media Block
Open your LinkShop in the Shopify admin
Click the + button to add a new block
Select Media from the block list
Choose the Type — Image, YouTube, or Vimeo
Upload an image or enter the video ID
Click Save
Tips
Use high-quality images — they display at full width, so low-resolution images may look blurry
YouTube and Vimeo videos play directly on your page, so visitors don't have to leave
Changing the media type clears the previous selection, so switch types before uploading or entering a video ID
